- Physical and psychological well-being, along with cleanliness, keep a student’s mind cheerful. True mental growth of a student does not occur through lessons alone. Therefore, wearing the prescribed clean uniform to college is mandatory for all students. For male students, long hair, inappropriate hairstyles, or fringe-cut beards are not acceptable.
- Each student is provided with an identity card by the college authority, which must be carried at all times during college hours. If the ID card is lost, the student must file a General Diary (GD) at the police station, deposit the prescribed fee at the bank, and then apply for a replacement card.
- Each branch has at least two coordinators who are responsible for monitoring attendance, discipline, academic improvement, and addressing the needs and concerns of students in their respective branch. Students and respected guardians can collect necessary information from the coordinators between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
- Attendance in every class is compulsory. If a student remains absent for three consecutive days without permission, the guardian must visit the college and submit a written explanation. Otherwise, attendance will not be recorded thereafter. Any student with less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to participate in examinations under any circumstances.
- Class monitors are selected from among the students in each branch based on proportionate representation. All students must respect and follow the instructions of the monitor. The monitor will communicate with the coordinators when necessary.
- Students must participate in co-curricular activities in addition to regular lessons. With the motto “Today’s student is tomorrow’s future”, students should strive to become more creative and self-confident.
- Students are prohibited from engaging in any activity that disrupts college discipline or from causing any damage to college property. Students must be non-smokers. The use of MP3/MP4 players and mobile phones during college hours is strictly prohibited. If such items are found, the authorities will confiscate them. Students guilty of serious misconduct may be issued a Transfer Certificate (TC) or have their admission cancelled.
Expulsion / Dropout and Admission Cancellation
A student may be expelled or have their admission cancelled for any of the following reasons:
- Failing to appear in any college examination without permission from the authority.
- Cheating in internal examinations.
- Disobeying or ignoring teachers’ instructions.
- Misbehaving with teachers, officials, or staff.
- Writing or drawing anything on classroom walls, benches, tables, notice boards, blackboards, or washroom walls.
- Getting involved in any kind of quarrel or dispute inside the college premises with fellow students or students of nearby colleges.
